Sacred Valley Tour Itinerary
We start the sacred valley private tours when we pick you up at 07:00 am. from your Cusco hotel.
We will travel to Chinchero in our private vehicle and make our first stop here.
Upon arrival, we will visit the Inca site and the colonial church. For a unique local experience, we will visit the textile weaving centers. Here, you will see local ladies in their red and black dress spinning alpaca wool. The Andean village is also famous because the typical Sunday market.
After, we will visit the Incan agricultural experiment station of Moray. These are natural depressions in the ground surface that Incas used for constructing irrigated farming terraces around them.
Then, we will head towards Maras and visit the salt mines. The colonial town is strategically located overlooking the impressive sacred valley of the Incas. Our journey continues to Salineras where the local families from Maras extract salt.
Next, our vehicle take us to Urubamba where we stop and have Lunch.
